Distillation Separation Device is a key device that separates mixtures based on boiling point differences. Simple distillation equipment is mainly composed of a distillation tower, a reboiler, a condenser, a feed tank, and a pump. The plates or fillers in the distillation tower promote full contact between gas and liquid; the reboiler heats the liquid to vaporize it, providing rising vapor for distillation; the condenser cools and liquefies the vapor at the top of the tower.
Working Principle
1. Heating and evaporation: The mixed liquid to be separated is sent into the distillation equipment and heated to boiling point in the reboiler, so that the low-boiling-point components are vaporized first, forming vapor rising.
2. Gas-liquid mass transfer: The vapor rises in the distillation tower and fully contacts the descending liquid on the tower plate or filler surface to achieve heat and mass transfer, and the high-boiling-point components are partially condensed, and the low-boiling-point components are further vaporized.
3. Condensation and collection: The vapor at the top of the tower enters the condenser, is cooled and liquefied, and is collected as distillate; the unvaporized high-boiling-point components flow out from the bottom of the tower to complete the separation.
