A Scraped Surface Evaporator (SSE) is a highly efficient, continuous processing heat exchanger designed to handle viscous, fouling, crystallizing, or heat-sensitive materials. It mechanically removes product from the heated wall, enabling the evaporation of solvents or concentration of challenging fluids that are difficult or impossible to process in conventional evaporators.
