Working principle

The vertical film dryer consists of a cylindrical vertically arranged body with a heating jacket inside and a rotor.The rotor is equipped with rows of pendulum blades throughout the length of the dryer.The hinged blades spread the wet feed product on a heated wall as a thin layer of product and strongly mix the product layer material.Therefore,the volatile component is continuously evaporated from the material layer having a high evaporation rate.The hinge vanes are designed with minimal clearance to prevent the heated surface from being soiled by the product,but at the same time not in contact with the heated wall.The product enters the top of the dryer.Evaporation begins after heating to the boiling point.The initial solids form in the slurry zone,and as the volatiles evaporate and the hinged blades continue to shear,the paste material continues to decompose into powder.The final solid product is discharged by gravity at the bottom of the dryer by a suitable airlock
