Vacuum Harrow Dryer Operating Precautions

  • Pre-Startup Equipment Inspection
Before starting the machine, thoroughly inspect the equipment to ensure the vacuum system is properly sealed and leak-free. Check that the agitator is operating smoothly, without any jamming or unusual noises. Also, check that the heating medium piping is securely connected and leak-free. Ensure that all valves open and close freely and that the instrument displays are normal. If any component is damaged or malfunctioning, repair or replace it promptly before restarting the machine.
  • Material Loading and Pretreatment
Before loading the material, ensure that it meets the equipment's handling requirements. Remove any impurities and lumps to avoid clogging the equipment or damaging the agitator components. Maintain a reasonable material loading level and avoid overloading to prevent impacting the agitator's performance and drying efficiency. For materials prone to sticking to the wall or with special properties, pre-treatment measures should be implemented to ensure even distribution of the material during the drying process to avoid accumulation that can lead to uneven drying.
  • Operating Procedures
During operation, the drying temperature and vacuum level must be strictly controlled. Parameters must be adjusted slowly based on the material's characteristics to avoid sudden temperature fluctuations or excessive vacuum fluctuations, which can prevent material deterioration and affect drying quality. Closely monitor the agitator speed to maintain stable operation and avoid inadequate agitation due to abnormal speed. Regularly observe the material's condition. If any sticking or caking occurs, take appropriate measures to ensure a stable drying process.
    • Response to Abnormal Situations
If the equipment produces unusual noises, odors, or displays abnormally during operation, immediately stop all operations, shut down the heating and vacuum systems, and investigate the cause after the equipment has safely shut down. In the event of a material leak, immediately close the feed valve, clean up the leaked material, inspect the sealing components for damage, and replace any damaged components before restarting the machine. Protective measures must be taken when handling abnormal situations to prevent operator exposure to hazardous materials or equipment injury.
    • Post-Stop Maintenance
After the equipment is shut down, shut off the heating medium supply and wait until the equipment temperature returns to normal before shutting down the vacuum system and agitator. Afterward, clean the interior of the equipment to remove any remaining material to prevent accumulation and deterioration that could affect subsequent use. Use specialized tools to avoid scratching the interior of the equipment. Also, inspect all components for wear and tear, inspect and replace any vulnerable parts, and maintain a record of equipment cleaning and maintenance to ensure stable operation.
