In the multi-effect evaporation process, the secondary steam of the evaporator can not be directly used as the heat source of the effect, and can only be used as the secondary or secondary heat source. If it is used as an effective heat source, it must be additionally energized to increase its temperature (pressure). The steam jet pump can only compress part of the secondary steam, while the MVR evaporator can recycle all the secondary steam in the evaporator.
1. At 111.3 degrees, the heat required to evaporate 1 kg of water is (heating at 111.3 degrees and heating becomes 111.3 degrees of steam)
2693.4 – 417.51=2275.89kj/kg
2. The compression work required for ideal compression (1.0bar to 1.5bar) is:
Ws = (2693.4 - 2675.4)=18 kj/kg
Take the mechanical efficiency of the compressor 65%
Take the compressor thermal efficiency 25%
The compression work required for the actual MVR compressor compressor = ws / 0.65 / 0.25 = 110kj / kg
3. Performance ratio = 2275/110 = 20.68
Means that the energy consumption of the MVR evaporator is equivalent to 20
