Horizontal Storage Tank

A horizontal storage tank is common horizontal pressure vessel in chemical workshops. It is placed horizontally on fixed supports, made of carbon steel or stainless steel. It is mainly used for sealed storage of liquid chemical materials, with larger storage capacity and stable bearing performance than vertical tanks.

Before feeding materials, workers check tank welds, sealing ports and supporting feet. Liquid materials are transported into the tank via dedicated pipelines. Operators strictly control liquid level within the safe range to leave buffer space. The exhaust valve balances internal and external air pressure to ensure feeding and discharging smoothly.

Daily maintenance includes surface anti-rust treatment and pressure detection. Operators shall wear professional protective clothing during work. It is prohibited to load incompatible chemicals to avoid chemical reaction. This tank has low floor height and easy maintenance, widely used for conventional chemical liquid storage.
