The selection of the thin-film evaporator should comprehensively consider various factors, and these factors are interrelated, and generally need to consider:
1. Determination of evaporation area:
Calculate the amount of evaporation, calculate the amount of evaporation per unit time (Kg / h) based on the amount of treatment and the concentration of the input and output materials;
Estimate the evaporation intensity of the evaporator according to the viscosity, concentration, and evaporation temperature of the material;
Considering a certain margin, the required evaporation area is calculated.
2. Determination of the degree of vacuum
The degree of vacuum is obtained at the cost of energy consumption, as long as the evaporation requirements are met, an excessively high degree of vacuum need not be required;
Based on the thermal sensitivity of the material, estimate the vacuum at this evaporation temperature;
Consider the possibility of leakage and the resistance of the secondary steam along the way to determine the required degree of vacuum.
3. Determination of scraper form and material
According to the material's viscosity, crystallization tendency, foam and other physical and chemical properties, select the appropriate scraper form, and consider the evaporation temperature to determine the appropriate material.
4. Determination of heat medium
According to the required evaporation temperature and the heat consumed, a suitable heat medium such as steam or hot water or thermal oil is determined.
