The difference between distillation section and distillation section

Distillation is generally used to separate homogeneous liquid mixtures, and these two components must meet the distillation conditions, that is, they have different volatility. We use the simplest two-component continuous distillation to discuss it.

When you turn on the raw material pump to start the rectification, and this part of the material enters the rectification column feed tray, they have already started the rectification. We already know that the volatility of these two components is different, that is, the material is heated to vaporize the solution, and the vapor composition and liquid composition above the solution are different. The higher the content, the higher the boiling point of the substance in the liquid phase. Then all the above steam is condensed, so the content of volatile components in this condensate is higher than the original solution. If the mixed steam is partially condensed, the volatile components in the steam will increase. This process can be carried out many times. In this way, the more volatile components are getting higher and higher as they go to the top of the tower, the harder volatile components will be getting higher and higher as they go to the tower , The original two-component homogeneous mixed solution will be separated.
