The distillation of the short path evaporator is a thermal separation process operating at a pressure of 1-0.1 mbar.It has a low boiling temperature and is ideal for heat sensitive and high boiling materials.Basic composition:cylindrical cylinder with heating jacket, rotor and built-in condenser; the rotor holder is equipped with a scraper and anti-splash device. The internal condenser is located in the center of the evaporator and the rotor rotates between the cylindrical cylinder and the condenser. The short path distiller consists of an externally heated vertical cylinder,a central condenser located therein, and a wiper that rotates between the distiller and the condenser.
The distillation process is as follows:The material is fed from the top of the evaporator and continuously distributed evenly over the heating surface through a liquid distributor on the rotor. Then, the liquid is scraped into the thin turbulent film by a wiper and pushed downward spirally downward.During this process, the light molecules escaping from the heated surface are condensed to the liquid on the built-in condenser by a short collision, and the condenser tube is passed down through the discharge tube at the bottom of the evaporator, and the residual liquid is collected into a circular shape. The passage is under the heating zone and then flows out through a side discharge pipe.
