Introduction of Scraper Film Evaporator

Scraper type thin film evaporator, it is a new type of evaporator with strong adaptability, such as high viscosity, heat sensitivity and easy to crystallize, scale materials. It is mainly composed of a heating jacket and a scraper. The jacket is heated by steam. The scraper is mounted on a rotatable shaft. The scraper and the inner wall of the heating jacket maintain a small gap, usually 0.5 to 1.5 mm. After preheating, the material liquid is added in the tangential direction from the upper part of the evaporator. Under the action of gravity and a rotating scraper, it is distributed on the inner wall to form a downward rotating film. Secondary steam escapes from the top. In some cases, such an evaporator evaporates the solution to dryness, yielding a solid product directly at the bottom. The disadvantages of this type of evaporator are the complicated structure (large manufacturing, installation and maintenance workload), the small heating area, and the large power consumption.
