How to Troubleshoot a Vacuum Rake Dryer's Mixing System

1. Immediately Shut Down and Isolate Power Sources
When an abnormality is detected in the mixing system, first stop the entire dryer and disconnect the power supply to the equipment. This prevents the problem from escalating during continued operation and further damage to components due to abnormal friction, creating a safe and stable environment for subsequent inspection and repair.
2. Thoroughly Inspect Key Connecting Components
Focus on inspecting the mixing system's drive mechanism, checking for looseness or breakage in the drive belt or chain. Then, check the coupling connection for misalignment or wear. Next, inspect the connection between the agitator shaft and the rake teeth to determine if any looseness or detachment is present. 4. Conduct Phased Trial Run Verification

After repairs are complete, conduct a no-load test run. Start the mixing system and observe whether it operates smoothly, including any unusual noises or jerking. Once no-load operation is normal, conduct a test run with material, adding a small amount of material to monitor the mixing effect and system operation to confirm that the fault has been completely resolved and all performance has returned to normal.

5. Establish a Long-Term Maintenance Mechanism

Regularly inspect and maintain the mixing system. Add lubricant regularly according to the equipment manual to maintain lubrication of transmission components. Record all maintenance and operation records, including operating hours and any abnormalities, to identify potential problems, implement preventive measures, and extend the life of the mixing system.
