The horizontal film dryer is a continuous operation contact dryer that can be used in a wide range of applications under vacuum, atmospheric pressure and overpressure. They comprise a horizontally arranged heating casing with an end cap and a rotor with bolted blades, the wet product supplied through the inlet nozzle being picked up by the rotor blades, applied to the hot wall and simultaneously delivered towards the outlet nozzle at the opposite end of the body.
