Characteristics of scraper type thin film evaporator:
1. Motor and reducer
It is a driving device for rotor rotation. The rotational speed of the rotor will depend on the form of the scraper. The viscosity of the material and the inner diameter of the evaporator barrel: Choosing the appropriate linear speed of the scraper is one of the important parameters to ensure stable and reliable operation of the evaporator and satisfactory evaporation effect.
2. Separation cylinder
Materials enter the evaporator from the inlet at the upper end of the separation cylinder body, and are continuously and evenly distributed in the Gongfa cylinder body (splash film) through the distributor installed in the separation cylinder body. The primary steam evaporated from the evaporation cylinder body rises to the separation cylinder, and is separated from the liquid drops or foam that may be carried by the secondary steam through the gas-liquid separator installed in the cylinder body. The secondary steam is led out of the evaporator from the outlet at the upper end. The reasonable design of the separation cylinder body based on the calculation of internal resistance in the evaporator is one of the key factors to avoid material "short circuits".
The so-called "short circuit" refers to the material that has just entered the evaporator but has not yet completed the evaporation process, that is, leaving the evaporator from the secondary steam outlet
3. Distributor
The distributor is installed on the rotor. Reasonable design ensures that the material entering the evaporator from the feed inlet is continuously and evenly sprayed onto the evaporation surface through a rotating distributor.
4. Gas liquid separator
The rotary vane gas-liquid separator is installed above the separating cylinder, which traps the liquid drops or foam that may be carried by the rising secondary steam and makes it fall back to the evaporation surface.
5. Evaporation cylinder body
Also known as the heating cylinder body. It is an evaporation surface where the material forced to form a film by a rotating scraper exchanges heat with the heating medium inside the jacket. The inner diameter and length of the evaporation cylinder are determined by the evaporation area and appropriate aspect ratio.
The inner wall of the heating cylinder is processed and polished by a dedicated machine tool, and the connecting surfaces with the flanges at both ends are processed in one go to ensure the overall roundness of the equipment. After polishing (mirror polishing if necessary), the inner wall of the cylinder body is smooth, clean and bright, and is not easy to stick and scale, effectively ensuring the high heat transfer coefficient of the equipment.
