The liquid extraction apparatus consists of three parts

A mixing device,a separation device,and a solvent recovery device.

The mixing device is a device for actual extraction,which requires the feed liquid to be thoroughly mixed with the extractant to form an emulsion,and the product to be separated is transferred from the feed liquid into the extractant.The mixing is usually carried out in a stirred tank,and the feed liquid and the extractant can be mixed at a very high speed in the pipe to be pipe-extracted,and the vortex mixing is also carried out by using a jet pump,which is called jet extraction.

The separation device separates the extracted phase and the raffinate formed after the extraction.Separation often uses a centrifuge with a higher separation factor.Mixing and separation can also be done in one device at the same time,called the extraction machine.

The solvent recovery equipment needs to separate the product in the extract from the extraction solvent and recover it.
